The tournament leaderboard is starting to get exciting with only a few fish being weighed. Check out Alex Oliszewski’s Tautog (blackfish), a 13.7 pound monster holds the lead. Thanks to Daniel Bye for kicking it off with two fish, both caught from his kayak! Sorry Dan, Kyle Wright bumped you out of the running with his 7.23 pounder.
Watching the names and leads change is a big part of the fun with the Jersey Shore Beach N Boat Fishing Tournament. Check out the tournament learderboard daily.

Last night at the Jersey Shore Beach ‘N Boat Fishing Tournament Launch Party, tournament directors Mike Young and Mike Cirelli lit up the Tiki Bar at the Captains Inn in Forked River, NJ, with tournament sponsors and anglers in attendance by donating $1000 to the Recreational Fishing Alliance. Jim Hutchinson received this donation for the RFA, which will use the funds for scientific research in NJ’s salt water fisheries. Way to go!
